EN ISO 11855-3:2015 Building environment design - Design@ dimensioning@ installation and control of embedded radiant heating and cooling systems - Part 3: Design and dimensioning
This part of the ISO 11855 series of standards specifies a system planning and design process to ensure the heating and cooling performance of area-integrated radiant heating and cooling systems. The ISO 11855 series of standards is applicable for integrated surface heating and cooling systems with water flow in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The procedures apply to systems integrated into walls, floor and ceiling constructions without open air gaps. It does not cover surface systems with open air gaps that are not integrated into the building structure. The ISO 11855 series of standards may also be applicable to the use of liquids other than water as heating and cooling media. The testing of systems is not covered by the ISO 11855 series of standards. The procedures described do not apply to heated or cooled ceiling panels or beams and beams.
