This part of ISO 6743 provides the precise classification of fluids of the H family (hydraulic systems) that belong to the L class (lubricants, industrial oils and related products). This part is intended to be read in conjunction with ISO 6743-99. Automotive brake fluids or aircraft hydraulic fluids are not included in this classification system.
