- This standard specifies the reliability test methods for general-purpose application television equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment). This standard is applicable to equipment, cameras, monitors, controllers, electric pan/tilts and other related products whose service life is subject to exponential distribution. The reliability indexed by the lower limit (θ1) of the hypothetical value of mean working time between failures (MTBF) is Identification test and reliability acceptance test. This standard is also applicable to the reliability test of special-purpose applied TV equipment under the condition of additional special stress.
