Scope
This standard stipulates that the extrapolation method is used to determine the long-term ultimate bending strain and long-term ultimate relative ring deformation of glass fiber reinforced thermosetting plastic (CGRP) pipes in a wet environment. This standard gives two loading methods: one is the loading plate, and the other is the supporting beam. Note: ———When the relative radial deformation of the test is not greater than 28°, both loading methods can be used; when the relative radial deformation of the test is greater than 28°, at least one supporting beam is used for loading. This standard applies to thin-walled glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin pipes and fittings. Note: Thin-walled pipe means that the ratio of outer diameter to wall thickness is greater than or equal to 10:1. This condition limits the internal pressure of the pipe. According to the hoop stress equation, the design internal pressure of the pipe is roughly equal to the hydrostatic pressure design basis. 20%%, and has nothing to do with the diameter.
