Scope

This standard specifies the general design requirements, detailed design requirements, effect evaluation, etc. for the discharge of residual propellant in the final stage of the launch vehicle in flight, and the selection of discharge methods. This standard is applicable to the discharge design of residual propellant in the last stage of launch vehicle using normal temperature liquid propellant and cryogenic liquid propellant. The relevant design of residual propellant treatment in the upper stage of launch vehicle can be implemented as a reference.
