Scope

This standard specifies accessibility guidelines to be considered when planning, developing and designing electro-imaging copiers, page printers and multifunction devices. This standard applies to improving the accessibility required for the use of office equipment by the elderly, persons with disabilities, or persons with temporary disabilities (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the elderly and persons with disabilities").
