Scope: This standard applies to copper core and aluminum core paper-wrapped insulated round winding wires and flat winding wires (referred to as paper-wrapped round wires and paper-wrapped flat wires) for the manufacture of oil-immersed transformers and other similar electrical equipment. The characteristics and technical requirements of various types of paper-wrapped round wires and paper-wrapped flat wires are specified in Parts 2 and 3 of GB7673. This standard must be used together with GB7673 Part 2 or GB7673 Part 3, etc.
