Scope: This part of GB/T1859 specifies the simple method for measuring the sound power level of reciprocating internal combustion engines. This part applies to reciprocating internal combustion engines within the applicable scope of GB/T 6072.1 (hereinafter referred to as engines unless otherwise specified), and other internal combustion engines for which there is no suitable standard available.
