Scope: This standard specifies the test methods for the type test and factory test of proportional/servo control hydraulic cylinders. This standard applies to proportional/servo-controlled piston and plunger hydraulic cylinders (hereinafter referred to as hydraulic cylinders or piston cylinders and plunger cylinders) that use hydraulic oil as the working medium.
