This standard specifies the basic specifications for pipeline components and material inspection used in the installation of stainless steel pipelines for the food industry (hereinafter referred to as "pipes"), as well as pipeline processing, welding, installation, inspection and testing, cleaning and purging, and project handover and acceptance. This standard is applicable to stainless steel pipelines in the food industry that transport liquid media and whose maximum operating temperature is lower than the standard boiling point of the liquid medium.
