Scope
This standard is formulated in order to standardize the treatment and utilization of wastewater from iron ore mining and dressing enterprises, ensure that the wastewater generated during the production process is effectively treated and utilized as resources, and prevent secondary pollution. This standard specifies the terms and definitions of sewage treatment in iron ore mining and processing enterprises, the classification and general requirements of sewage in iron ore mining and processing enterprises, and the basic technical, safety and environmental protection requirements for the treatment and disposal of sewage in iron ore mining and processing enterprises. This standard applies to wastewater treatment and utilization in iron ore mining and dressing enterprises, but does not apply to wastewater treatment and utilization technologies in other types of mines. In addition to complying with this standard, the treatment and utilization technology of wastewater from iron ore mining and dressing enterprises should also comply with the relevant national standards.
