This standard specifies the terms and definitions of stud welders, product types and basic parameters, environmental conditions, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules. This standard applies to stud welding machines under general operating conditions. Different product types and special usage conditions put forward certain special requirements for stud welders, which can be stipulated in enterprise standards or special technical conditions through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer on the basis of this standard.
