Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of hydrocyclones. This standard applies to hydrocyclones for classifying, desliming and concentrating immiscible two-phase or multi-phase slurries. This standard does not apply to heavy medium cyclones.
