This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of liquid resistance rotor starters for mining mills. This standard is applicable to liquid resistance rotor starting devices that are connected in series in the rotor circuit of wound AC asynchronous motors for mining mills to achieve smooth starting of mining mills.
