Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pig carbon dioxide stunners. This standard applies to carbon dioxide stunners (hereinafter referred to as stunners) that transport pigs through hanging cages and use carbon dioxide gas to stun the pigs.
