Scope
This part of GB/T 32078 stipulates the requirements of Chapter Ⅱ-2 Part C (Fire Suppression) of the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974) and the requirements of Chapter 3 of the International Fire Safety System Code (FSS) Self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighters on board. This standard applies to self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighters on board ships (hereinafter referred to as breathing apparatus) that are not in direct contact with flames and are used in small to medium-sized fire situations before the permanently installed fire protection system is in operation.
