Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods, procedures and requirements for measuring the surface shape and wavefront error of large-aperture planar optical components using Fizeau interferometer. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the transmission and reflection wave surface errors of planar optical elements with a circumscribed circle diameter of not less than 100mm by Fizeau interferometer. Optical elements of other calibers can be implemented by reference.
