Scope
This standard specifies the samples, test instruments and equipment, test solution, test conditions and procedures, test result evaluation and test report of the test method for intergranular corrosion of low-chromium ferritic stainless steel. This standard applies to the sulfuric acid-copper sulfate corrosion test method for testing low-chromium ferritic stainless steel (usually with a chromium content of less than 16%) in a weakly oxidizing corrosive medium.
