- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for the determination of hexavalent chromium content by diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometry. This standard applies to zinc and zinc alloy coatings on the surface of steel sheets and strips, including the determination of hexavalent chromium content on the surface of pure zinc, zinc-iron alloys, zinc-aluminum and aluminum-zinc alloys. Measuring range: 2 μg/g～100 μg/g or 0.020 μg/cm2～10 μg/cm2.
