- This standard specifies the general requirements, test procedures, result evaluation, test reports, safety and protection, etc. for measuring residual stress on the surface of aeroengine blades using X-ray diffraction method. This standard is applicable to the X-ray diffraction measurement of residual stress on the surface of polycrystalline material blades. It is not applicable to the X-ray diffraction measurement of residual stress on the surface of polycrystalline blades and single crystal blades with strong preferred orientation growth.
