Scope

This specification specifies the requirements for stainless steel and heat-resistant steel rods used in aviation. This specification is applicable to forged, rolled, cold-drawn and silver-bright stainless steel and heat-resistant steel bars for aviation use with section dimensions (diameter, side length or distance across sides) not greater than 250 mm.
