Scope

This section specifies the method for detecting wear metal content in aviation working fluids using a rotating disk electrode atomic emission spectrometer. This section is applicable to the detection of wear elements, pollutants and additive element content in aviation lubricants and aviation hydraulic oils. Other aviation working fluids such as aviation kerosene can be implemented as a reference.
