Scope
This International Standard specifies a method for testing unaged single or multi-coat systems for overcoatability and overpainting with a coating material, e.g. B. is intended for repairing damaged areas during or after assembly. Since the test for reworkability and repainability can be carried out under different conditions, this International Standard only gives a scheme for the implementation and lists the main influencing factors. The existing single or multi-layer system is called Coating A and the new single or multi-layer system is called Coating B. The same applies to the corresponding coating materials.
