This International Standard specifies minimum requirements for the contents of certificates for homogeneous gas mixtures in gas cylinders intended to be used as calibration gas mixtures. Pure gases, when used as calibration gas mixtures, are covered by this International Standard. Gases and gas mixtures manufactured for other purposes are not taken into account. The requirements in this International Standard relate to the measurement aspects of calibration gas mixtures. Others, such as Other aspects, such as security or legislative aspects, are not covered. This International Standard specifies additional recommended information (voluntary information) for the identification of homogeneous gas mixtures supplied under pressure in compressed gas cylinders or other containers. It does not contain any specifications regarding safety-related information or related labeling.
