Scope
This standard specifies the methods for the determination of bulk density, particle point crush resistance, wear rate, specific surface area, pore volume, and average pore diameter of deoxidation-protected sulfur recovery catalysts. This standard is applicable to the sulfur recovery catalyst with deoxidation protection function that uses alumina as the main active component in the Claus sulfur recovery process that contains hydrogen sulfide acid gas as the raw material.
