- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of phytyl salicylate (also known as phytyl salicylate). This standard is applicable to the analysis and evaluation of the quality of leaf alcohol salicylate produced through the chemical reaction of leaf alcohol and salicylic acid or methyl salicylate as raw materials.
