Scope

This standard specifies common terms for radial-axial turboexpanders. This standard applies to radial-axial flow turboexpanders for air separation equipment. Also suitable for centripetal radial flow turboexpanders for air separation plants. Reference can also be made to axial flow turboexpanders and turboexpanders for other gas separation equipment.
