This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant fiberglass tapes for electrical insulation (hereinafter referred to as fiberglass tapes). This standard is applicable to electrical insulation made of glass fiber cloth as the base material, dip-coated with prepared metal hydrate and halogen-free (such as chlorine, bromine) flame-retardant glue solutions on the upper and lower surfaces, and baked and cured. Use halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant fiberglass cloth tape. This product can be used as wrapping tape and oxygen-insulating flame-retardant layer for various types of flame-retardant cables and fire-resistant cables.
