Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the determination of rock water absorption and rock saturated water absorption by the free immersion method, boiling method and vacuum extraction method. This section is applicable to the water absorption test of rocks that do not disintegrate or dissolve when exposed to water and do not shrink or swell when exposed to water in the physical and mechanical properties of rocks.
