- Scope
- This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the determination of the natural density, dry density and saturated density of rocks by the volumetric method, the water weighing method and the wax sealing method. The volumetric product method specified in this section is applicable to all types of rocks that can be prepared into regular samples. The water weighing method is suitable for other types of rocks except those that disintegrate, dissolve, and shrink with dryness and swelling with water. The wax seal method is suitable for rocks that cannot be tested using the volumetric method or direct weighing in water.
