- This standard specifies the grading criteria for safety classification, seismic classification, and quality assurance classification of buildings, systems, and components of nuclear fuel reprocessing plants (hereinafter referred to as reprocessing plants), and recommends standard specifications for design and construction. This standard applies to spent fuel wet storage facilities, head-end facilities, chemical separation facilities, tail-end facilities, radioactive waste treatment facilities and auxiliary facilities of reprocessing plants.
