KS F ISO 3822-2:2014 Laboratory tests on noise emission from appliances and equipment used in water supply installations — Part 2: Mounting and operating conditions for draw-off taps and mixing valves
This standard specifies the installation methods and operating conditions for single taps and mixed hot and cold water taps used when measuring noise caused by water flow. The procedures described are for single taps with a flow pressure of 0.1 to 0.5 MPa, depending on the typical design. It is generally used in all types of faucets and hot and cold water mixing faucets. Handling methods and operating conditions apply to all components of single faucets and hot and cold water mixing faucets, including installation of unions, elbows, and adapters. However, it excludes interchangeable water supply devices such as aerators, shower hoses, shower heads, and rectifiers. This drain part is replaced with a standard low-noise flow resistor. If the previously mentioned drain part is difficult to replace or cannot be removed, the experiment is carried out by including it as is. Interchangeable drain parts are tested separately according to the procedures defined in other parts of KS F ISO 3822. Thermostatic hot and cold water mixing faucets designed for use as one or more independent stand-alone faucets, bidet valves that discharge directly into the bidet are common. It is not considered a stand-alone faucet or a mixed hot/cold water faucet and is therefore not included in this standard. The range of this test procedure is a flow pressure of 0.1 to 0.5 MPa.
