KS C IEC 60664-3-A:2014 Insulation coordination for equipment within low-voltage systmes — Part 3：Use of coatings to achieve insulation coordination of printed board assemblies
This standard applies to printed board assemblies with an insulating coating on one or both sides of the printed board. These coatings are used to insulate the microscopic environment of the surface of the printed board assembly for insulation purposes or to prevent contamination, and describe the requirements and test procedures for printed board assemblies to which the coating is applied. This standard covers two types of coatings: The coating is described. - Type A coatings only provide protection against contamination. The clearance and creepage distance requirements of KS C IEC 60664-1 apply to coated printed board assemblies - Type B coatings provide protection against contamination and insulation. Clearance and creepage distance requirements do not apply to coated printed board assemblies. Only the requirements of KS C IEC 60664-1 for solid insulation apply. This standard is applicable for functional insulation and basic insulation.?
