Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring the adhesive strength of rubber-metal bonds in which the rubber parts are assembled between two parallel metal plates using a investigated adhesive system. This method is used for the development and manufacturing of rubber mixtures. Applies first to test specimens prepared in the laboratory under standard conditions, as they can be used to provide data for control.
