Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring the boiling point distribution of petroleum products. This test method is applicable to petroleum products with an end point of 538°C or lower at atmospheric pressure. This standard is not applicable to gasoline samples or gasoline components. This method is limited to products with a boiling point above 55°C and a vapor pressure low enough to allow sampling at room temperature. This method has been successfully applied to samples containing up to 10% biodiesel. .b
