For other lamps within the scope of this standard, the relevant data shall be supplied by the lamp manufacturer or seller. The requirements of this standard relate only to type tests. The requirements covering lamp starting tests and information related to ballast/igniter design It will depend on the practice of the country in which the type of lamp in question was developed. Products manufactured according to type test samples are, in most cases, considered to comply with the tolerances given in this standard.
