This standard deals with the safety of electric bubble-generating bathtubs and spas for indoor, home, and similar purposes with a rated voltage of 250 V or less for single-phase devices and 480 V or less for other devices. This standard also applies to appliances for the circulation of air or water in traditional bathtubs. Appliances that may pose a risk to the public, even if they are not normally used in the home, e.g. in hotels, health clubs and similar places. Appliances that may be used must also comply with this standard. This standard covers the common hazards that may be caused to everyone in our everyday environment by devices. This standard does not normally specify the following items:
——Persons (including children) who lack physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, to use the device safely without supervision or instruction. - Children playing with the device.
