Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the method of measuring the chloride content in hardened concrete by selecting it among potentiometric titration, absorptiometry, silver nitrate titration, and ion chromatography to suit each application. 1.2 Chloride ions extracted with nitric acid is assumed to be the total amount of chloride contained in the hardened concrete.
