Scope

KS R ISO 11452-5 measures the immunity of electronic components of passenger cars and commercial vehicles that are subject to electrical interference by electromagnetic energy emitted in a narrow band regardless of the vehicle propulsion system (e.g. spark ignition engine, diesel engine, electric motor). A stripline test method is presented to do this. To perform such tests, device wiring is exposed to disturbing electromagnetic fields. This technique is limited to device wiring with a maximum diameter of less than 1/3 of the stripline height. The electromagnetic disturbances considered are limited to continuous narrowband electromagnetic fields.
