- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of heat exchangers for gas water heaters and heating furnaces (hereinafter referred to as "heat exchangers") . This standard applies to copper and stainless steel heat exchangers installed in household gas instant water heaters specified in GB 6932 and CJ/T 336, and also applies to single heating types installed in GB 25034 and CJ/T 395. and copper and stainless steel heat exchangers in gas heating furnaces for both heating and hot water. This standard does not apply to plate heat exchangers in gas heating and hot water boilers.
