Scope: This Part of GB/T 20819 applies to PID pneumatic and electric industrial process regulators with continuous analog input and output signals in compliance with current national standards. It should be noted that the tests specified in this section cover tests with corresponding signals, and are applicable to regulators with the same principle but different signals but all continuous signals. It should also be noted that this section applies to electric or pneumatic industrial process regulators with only analog components, and can be implemented with reference to regulators with microprocessors. The purpose of this standard is to specify a uniform test method for the performance evaluation of industrial process PID regulators with analog input and output signals. When there are no other agreed conditions between the manufacturer and the user, use the test conditions specified in this section, such as ambient temperature, power range, etc. When it is not necessary to conduct a comprehensive assessment according to this part, the required tests can be carried out according to the relevant parts of this part, and the test results should be reported. Manufacturers and users should reach an agreement on the test procedures based on the characteristics and scope of use of the equipment.
