Scope

This part of SN/T 3981 specifies the basic requirements for quality conformity evaluation of imported and exported cotton, including: fine staple cotton (saw-toothed fine staple cotton and roller-processed fine staple cotton), long-staple cotton and natural colored fine velvet cotton. , procedures, content, methods and results judgment and reporting methods. This section applies to the quality compliance evaluation of regulatory and non-regulatory requirements for imported and exported cotton. This section does not apply to the quality conformity evaluation of imported and exported cotton waste. Cotton fibers that can be used for spinning after separation and purification of waste cotton and cotton linters can refer to this standard for technical evaluation of quality compliance.
