- This standard specifies the multi-point test method for the rolling resistance of pneumatic tires for imported and exported cars, light trucks, trucks and buses. This standard is suitable for measuring the rolling resistance of free-rolling tires when driving in a steady state and when the slip angle and camber angle are zero. There are three basic test methods: a) Force measurement method - measure the reaction force of the tire rotation axis and convert it is the rolling resistance; b) Torque method - measure the input torque of the testing machine and convert it into rolling resistance; c) Power method - measure the input power of the testing machine and convert it into rolling resistance.
