Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of chitosan fiber content in textiles using colloidal titration. This standard applies to mixtures of chitosan fiber and cellulose fiber, protein fiber, polyester fiber, nylon, vinylon, spandex, acetate fiber, triacetate fiber, etc. This standard does not apply to textile products containing chitosan finishing agents.
