Scope

This standard specifies the method for network-related performance testing of digital automatic voltage regulators using a real-time digital simulation system. This standard is applicable to the detection of network-related performance of digital automatic voltage regulators in self-shunt excitation static excitation systems and AC exciter excitation systems. Other types of excitation regulators can be implemented by reference.
