- Scope
- This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods of electronic stability control systems for light vehicles. This standard is applicable to the electronic stability control system of vehicles of category M and category N whose maximum design gross mass is not greater than 3500 kg. Vehicles of categories M and N with a maximum design total mass of more than 3,500 kg but not greater than 5,000 kg can be implemented by reference.
