- Scope
- This standard specifies the general principles and procedures for food sampling inspection. This standard is applicable to the food acceptance sampling inspection and food supervision sampling inspection of delivery batches. This standard applies to the control of products with uniform quality characteristics, including the control of the unqualified percentage of unit products (discrete individual products), the number of unqualified per hundred units or the average value, and also includes the control of the average value of bulk materials. This standard does not apply to product production process control, does not include specific food sampling procedures and secondary, multiple and sequential sampling plans, does not consider the control of similar products and the control of qualitative properties of bulk materials where measurement errors cannot be ignored compared with sampling errors.
