Scope: This part of GB 15579 specifies the safety requirements and performance requirements for gas circuit devices for flammable gases or oxygen. The gas circuit device is used to provide gas for arc welding, plasma cutting, gouging or similar processes in non-explosive atmospheres. Pneumatic devices can be installed externally or internally to the power supply. When installed inside the power supply, this section also applies to the power supply.
