Scope

This part of YY/T 0119 specifies test methods for determining the static and dynamic bending properties of metal spinal screws. This section applies to metal spinal screws in spinal fixation implants. This section aims to provide a method for mechanical characterization of spinal screws with different component types. At present, there is insufficient knowledge to predict the results of use of specific screw designs, so this test method is not intended to be used to define performance levels of spinal screws.
