This standard specifies a cargo container seal recognition system and has associated systems to verify the correctness of use, including:
——Seal status recognition system - Battery status indicator - Unique seal device containing manufacturer identification. Identifier - Type of seal device (tag) This standard is used in connection with other parts of KS T ISO 18185. This standard is used in KS T ISO 668, Parts 1 to 5 of KS T ISO 1496, and KS T ISO 8323. Applies to all electronic sealing devices used in cargo containers as specified. It also applies to cargo containers not covered by these standards, if appropriate and implementable.
